Reader food searches never end

This year, I'm thankful, as always, for my readers (although more than ever this year, which has been a rough one personally). So here's a big helping of reader requests, to help work through the backlog:

Jacque O'Hara: Parkay stick margarine;

Carmen Wood: local source for Jiffy yellow cake mix;

Edmond Frank: Marsala sauce with mushrooms and onions, similar to the house brand Trader Joe's used to carry;

Gerrie Washburn: bottled miso salad dressing;

Dee Shonquist: Chef's Requested frozen bacon-wrapped steaks;

Mary K. Swift: artificially sweetened Mt. Olive sweet relish;

Cole Walker: Russian piroshkis -- not to be confused with pierogi;

Barbara Treece: a local source for Joseph's Maltitol Sweetener;

Joseph V. Palovich: Coffee Rich;

Deborah Morelli: Cherry Slices candy for her father, who used to get them at Camping World;

Traci Riley: Clark's Teaberry Gum and Choward's Scented Gum;

Susan and Ray McIver: Duncan Hines Orange Supreme Cake Mix;

Karen Keller: "good, back-East, dark pumpernickel bread;"

Jan Bartholomew: Bush's Best White Hominy, which she used to get at Walmart;

Charles and Jannie Floyd: a local source for Whole Fruit lemon sorbet;

Jim Brant: Dakota Buckaroo Marinating Sauce;

And here's a reply for Allan Hanson, who's looking for a restaurant that serves deep-fried turkey dinners for dine-in or takeout, Richard Shehane recommended Lola's Louisiana Kitchen, 241 W. Charleston Blvd., and Debbie Caponera recommended the takeout dinner at Hash House A Go Go, which has three locations in the valley.
