Clark County Fair set for this weekend

The Clark County Fair & Rodeo is under way in Logandale.

Featuring entertainment, arts and crafts exhibits, a livestock show and more, the fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to midnight today and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

The rodeo will begin at 7 p.m. today and Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday.

Fair admission is $6, carnival admission is $14, rodeo admission is $10, carnival and fair admission is $20 and rodeo and fair admission is $16.

'Pieces' returns for one-night engagement

"Pieces (of Ass)" borrows the format of "The Vagina Monologues" for mostly humorous dissertations on the perils of being a hot chick.

The theater piece first visited Las Vegas in 2004, and returns today for a single performance in the Steve Wyrick Theatre in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, 3663 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

The special guest star, or "CenterPiece," is Shanna Moakler. The former Miss USA's presence is intended to stir interest among those attending this year's pageant a short distance away.
