Sharpen shopping skills at holiday bazaars

Some folks love to decorate for every holiday or otherwise joyous occasion. Bringing them together with local holiday bazaars is the type of public service we do.

Luckily, there still is time for nonprofit groups to provide us with the information we need for our annual listing of events. All the way until 5 p.m. Monday .

Groups that want to be listed must give us the name of the event, date, time, street address and examples of what will be sold. The name of the nonprofit group also must be included along with information on how the money raised will be used. We also require a name and daytime phone number -- which won't be published -- in case we have questions.

Send details to Holiday Bazaars, Features Department, Las Vegas Review-Journal, P.O. Box 70, Las Vegas, NV 89125-0700. Or fax it to 383-4676 or e-mail it to mrhynes@reviewjournal.com (with Holiday Bazaars in the subject line).

Further details are available by calling Madelon Hynes, 383-0306.

The listing is scheduled to appear in the Living section and online Oct. 3.
