Hard Rock celebrating 10-10-10 with giveaways, bonuses

Next Sunday is Oct. 10 — aka 10-10-10 — and if the recent "tradition" continues, it may be a big day for casino promotions, as were 7-7-07, 8-8-08, and 9-9-09. The Hard Rock Hotel is celebrating 10-10-10 in a big way with "10 Reasons to visit the Hard Rock," including giving away $1,000 to 10 randomly selected slot players from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., giving $10 to all new Rockstar Player Club signups, paying double on suited A-10 naturals for $10 wagers, paying a $10 bonus on all four-of-a-kinds in 10s (no wildcards) on 10-cent games, 10x points plus, other gaming and food promos.

The "Pumpkin Patch Pick" is happening at Sam’s Town, Suncoast, Orleans and Gold Coast through Oct. 30. Twice every Saturday, each of the four properties will draw five names who will get to punch one of 36 spots on a board and win $250-$10,000. Entries can be earned both at the machines and the tables. Players must be present to win, and drawing times vary by property.

At 8:15 p.m. every Friday and Saturday, Palace Station, Boulder Station, Texas Station, Sunset Station, Santa Fe Station, Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock Resort, Aliante Station as well as Fiesta Rancho and Fiesta Henderson will draw for five $1,000 winners. Entries can be earned playing slots, table games, live poker, bingo and through select race and sports wagers. All 10 casinos are also running a daily "Free Swipe and Win" every day in October, where players club members can win up to $10,000 cash, free slot play, dining credits, bonus points and more.

Throughout September, all Silver Nugget Reward Club members hitting a royal flush on a $1 video poker machine receive a $1,000 bonus.

Free slot tournaments continue at the Riviera every Tuesday and Thursday (10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.) in October. Winners receive $50-$500 in free slot play.
