Adjusting a set of rabbit ears on a television, harnessing a team of oxen, using a party line telephone -- tasks that have outlived their usefulness, no doubt. But at least they still have a home on the Internet. The website obsoleteskills.com offers an A-to-Z listing of stuff you'll probably never need to do again, just in case you need to.
Ever have a song stuck in your head and can't remember the title? The site bored.com:8080/songtapper/ will try to name your tune based on the rhythm you tap on your computer keyboard.
Once you figure out the name of your song, you can make and print a collage of the lyrics -- or any words you'd like -- by copying and pasting your text at www.wordle.net.create. The site also allows you to change the color, font and layout of your artwork.
