Big names star in ‘Dream House’

The movie: "Dream House"

When: Opening Friday at local theaters

Cast: Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts, Rachel Weisz

Director: Jim Sheridan

The story: A New York publisher, his wife and children move to a quaint New England town, only to discover their seemingly idyllic new home was the scene of a brutal murder -- and the killer might return for them.

The buzz: This nightmare thriller boasts one of the creakiest plots around, but the collective presence of once-and-future 007 Craig, Oscar winner Weisz and Oscar-nominated Watts -- along with the Oscar-nominated director of such art-house hits as "My Left Foot," "In the Name of the Father" and "In America" -- gives this incarnation a definite prestige pedigree.
