First Look: Berry dials a wrong number

What: “The Call”

When: Opening Friday

Cast: Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin, Morris Chestnut, Michael Eklund and Michael Imperioli

Director: Brad Anderson

The story: A 911 operator (Berry) must confront a killer from her past in order to save a recently abducted teenager (Breslin).

The buzz: Aside from the horrifying novelty of Oscar winner Berry working with WWE Studios, there’s not much buzz at all. But it’s the only other thing opening Friday, and, between today’s feature and the review in Friday’s Neon, we don’t want you getting completely sick of “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.”
