Portman, Kutcher star in ‘No Strings’

The movie: "No Strings Attached"

When: Opening Friday at local theaters

Cast: Natalie Portman, Ashton Kutcher, Kevin Kline, Cary Elwes

Director: Ivan Reitman

The story: Two friends -- one male, one female -- become "friends with benefits," but it's not long before their strictly sexual relationship threatens to get romantic.

The buzz: Natalie Portman, a serious Oscar front-runner for "Black Swan," shows off her comedy chops in this R-rated romp. Originally titled "Friends With Benefits," this underwent a title switch, because there's another movie (due in July) called "Friends With Benefits," which stars Justin Timberlake and Portman's "Black Swan" co-star, Mila Kunis.
