See ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ a day early

If you can’t wait to feed you “Hobbit” habit, you can see “The Battle of the Five Armies” a day early at several local theaters as part of Monday’s “Hobbit” trilogy marathon.

Kicking off between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Monday, depending on the theater, “An Unexpected Journey” and “The Desolation of Smaug” will lead into the first ticketed screenings of “The Battle of the Five Armies” around 7 p.m.

Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until 7 p.m. Tuesday to see the final installment of director Peter Jackson’s trilogy.

Here’s a look at participating theaters, as well as additional promotions:
