‘Max Rose’
It’s Jerry Lewis’ first leading film role since 1995’s “Funny Bones.” “Max Rose,” the story of a jazz musician who, after his wife’s passing, discovers their 60-year relationship may have been a lie, opens Friday at Village Square.
‘Hell’s Kitchen’
None of the contestants on the new season of “Hell’s Kitchen” (8 p.m. Friday, Fox) is from Las Vegas. But the grand prize is a head chef position at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at The Venetian.
‘Transparent’
The members of the Pfefferman family continue their path of self-discovery in “Transparent: Season 3” (Friday, Amazon).
‘The Imitation Game’
Cryptanalyst Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch) helps break German intelligence codes for the British government during World War II in “The Imitation Game” (Thursday, Netflix).
‘Quantico’
“Quantico” started out as a silly series built around an engaging star in Priyanka Chopra before devolving into a complete mess. Here’s hoping the Season 2 reboot (10 p.m. Sunday, ABC) fares better.
