Catch the rapper Oct. 1 at Backstage Bar & Billiards with Red Pill and King Fantastic. Tickets are $15; the show is at 8 p.m.

STRANGE DAYS

COUNTDOWN

Fresh off performing at Les Paul's 100th Anniversary party, Count's 77, led by Danny "The Count" Koker of "Counting Cars" fame, is back in town for a gig at Count's Vamp'd, its official home base. Catch the Count and his crew Friday with the Bones. Admission is free and the show is at 9:30 p.m.

MOB RULES

Love George Lynch and the Lynch Mob, the post-Dokken project that the fleet-fingered fretman lends his name to, particularly the act's 1990 debut, "Wicked Sensation"? Then you'll want to make your way to Count's Vamp'd on Saturday to see the outfit with Oni Logan, its original frontman. Tickets are $15; the show is at 8 p.m.

NEW HEIGHTS

Hawthorne Heights frontman J.T. Woodruff is out on the road right now, playing songs from "Field Medicine," his latest solo effort. Oct. 1, his trek brings him to Beauty Bar. Tickets for this gig are $8 and the show is at 9 p.m.
