5 inexpensive music shows coming up in Las Vegas

Homecoming at Vinyl

The lineup Thursday at Vinyl at the Hard Rock Hotel is already enticing enough with the top-shelf local acts — the Lique, Moksha, Rockie Brown Band and Cameron Calloway — sharing the bill. But add to that a homecoming theme and you’ve got a must-see night of music. Tickets are $10 to $12; the show starts at 7 p.m.

Orlando fundraiser

The Las Vegas music scene is coming together this weekend at the Bunkhouse Saloon to show its support for the city of Orlando, Florida. On Saturday, Cameron Calloway, Hidden Levels, Jessica Manalo, Hassan Hamilton and Rabid Young perform at We Are Love, an Orlando fundraiser. The cover is $10, and the show starts at 7 p.m.

Artifacts &EDO.G

Hip-hop culture has four elements — rap, DJ, graffiti art and dance. Beauty Bar presents the first three Saturday with Artifacts &EDO.G headlining a night of live art, live DJs and freestyle rap — all of which will probably inspire fans to tap into their inner B-boy and engage in the fourth element. Tickets are $15 to $18

Toys That Kill

Touring in support of its brand-new album “Sentimental Ward,” San Pedro, California, punk band Toys That Kill is set to play the Dive Bar on Tuesday with Civic Minded 5, Illicit and Fredward. Tickets are $5; the show starts at 8 p.m.

We Are Scientists

Fresh off a solid performance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” We Are Scientists are slated to perform at the Bunkhouse on Sunday with the Palms and Glass Pools. Tickets are $10 to $12; doors open at 7 p.m.
