Dredg playing the Palms

Aggro art rockers Dredg go electro on their latest disc, "Chuckles and Mr. Squeezy," recording the album with producer Dan the Automater, whose credits range from the Gorrilaz to Kool Keith. It seems like an odd fit on paper, and it sounds like one on wax, but then again, these dudes have made a career out of refusing to make sense.

See Dredg at midnight Saturday in The Lounge at the Palms, 4321 W. Flamingo Road. Tickets are $15; call 944-3200.
