iHeart Radio Music Festival seats pricey

Planning on going to see the iHeart Radio Music Festival next week?

Better empty junior’s college fund first.

There’s a handful of tickets still available for the two-day event — literally, just a handful — which returns to the MGM Grand Garden arena on Sept. 19 and 20.

But if you aren’t planning on going alone or you want a choice seat, most of the action is on the resale market, where tickets are fetching top dollar.

According to secondary ticket marketplace Vivid Seats, iHeart day one tickets have an average price of $998, an increase of 6 percent from last year, while day two tix are going for an average of $989, a jump of 18 percent.

Taylor Swift, Usher, Coldplay and Motley Crue, among others, play the first night.

One Direction, Lorde, Iggy Azalea, Eric Church and more highlight the second show.

While iHeartRadio is the costliest show, on average, at the MGM Grand of late, there have been plenty of big money concerts at the venue over the past few months — and more moving into the fall.

According to Vivid Seats, here’s the median price per ticket of some of the priciest concerts at the arena:

1. Justin Timberlake, 8/8, $435

2. Billy Joel, 6/7, $380

3. The Eagles, 10/11, $315

4. Aerosmith, 8/2, $247

5. Katy Perry, 9/26, $230

6. Justin Timberlake, 11/28, $219

7. Lady Gaga, 8/1, $185

8. Lady Gaga, 7/19, $155

9. Kings of Leon, 9/27, $144
