Razzies’ nominees named; ‘Grown-Ups’ leads with 8 nominations

Nominations have gone out for the award that asks the nominees to “own their bad.”

The 34th Annual Golden Raspberry Awards issued their nominations on Tuesday for the worst film had to offer.

Grown-Ups 2” led the field with eight nominations. It will be up for worst picture, sequel, ensemble, screenplay, director (Dennis Dugan), lead actor (Adam Sandler), supporting actor (Taylor Lautner) and supporting actress (Salma Hayek).

Besides “Grown-Ups 2,” the nominees for worst picture are “After Earth,” “The Lone Ranger,” “A Madea Christmas” and “Movie 43.”

Scary Movie 5” produced three nominations: Worst Remake, Rip-off or Sequel; Worst Supporting Actress (Lindsay Lohan); and Worst Screen Combo (Lohan and Charlie Sheen).

The worst actress category’s nominees will be Lohan, Halle Berry (for Movie 43 and The Call), Selena Gomez (Getaway), Tyler Perry (A Madea Christmas) and Naomi Watts (Movie 43 and Diana).

The award for worst actor will go to either Sandler (Grown-Ups 2), Jaden Smith (After Earth), Johnny Depp (The Lone Ranger), Ashton Kutcher (Jobs) or Sylvester Stallone (Bullet to the Head, Escape Plan and Grudge Match).

The Razzies are given out on March 1. The Academy Awards will be honoring the best in film the next night.
