Several promotions tied in to ‘luckiest day of century’

Saturday (aka 07-07-07) is being called the luckiest day of the century, and it appears that almost every (local) Las Vegas casino has a special promotion in celebration. We mentioned several last week and have several more to tell you about here.

The Suncoast will give away 60 cash prizes totaling $77,000 beginning at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and continuing every two hours until 8:30 p.m. Players could begin earning one drawing entry for every 100 points earned ($100 coin-in) on June 29. It was unclear whether attendance is required at the drawings to win, so check the rules at the booth. The casino also will offer a $7,000 table game giveaway at 6 p.m.

All Station and Fiesta casinos will give away $7,777 at 8:15 Saturday. Players receive one entry for every 250 points earned ($250-$500 coin-in), for every $30 buy-in at bingo, and for every $10 average bet per hour at any table game. Entries can only be redeemed at the property where they were earned, and players must be present at the drawings to win.

Today, players earning 100 points ($200 coin-in at slots; $400 coin-in at video poker) at the Rampart can pick up a "Luckiest Day of the Century" T-shirt. At 7 p.m. Saturday, the casino will draw for 15 $777 free play (or table play) prizes. Players earn one entry for ever 100 points and must be present at the drawing to win.

Through August 31, all Caesars Palace players earning 300 base Reward Credits ($1,500 coin-in on slots, $3,000 video poker; no point redemption required) within 24 hours will receive an oversized towel that converts into a bag. Limit one per person.

All month long, Orleans Club Coast members can earn a silver coin set. Players receive their first coin after earning 15,000 points ($15,000 coin-out; no redemption required), and additional coins at 30,000, 60,000 and 100,000 points. Points must be earned at the Orleans, and there is a limit of one set per member.
