Numbers behind Blue Man Group’s 10,000th show

If you believe in numerology or the power of blue guys beating drums, Friday’s Blue Man Group show at Luxor will mark its 10,000th Las Vegas performance since early 2000.

This feat is said to involve 40,000 Twinkies, 350,000 marshmallows and 50,000 gallons of Tempera paint, according to fun facts promoting the show benefiting HELP of Southern Nevada’s Shannon West Homeless Youth Center by supplying musical instruments.

They didn’t give us a number on how many hours it took someone to add this stuff up. Or who keeps track of big numbers that seem to be celebrated a lot. Or do they guesstimate?
