School’s in for Ke$ha

Goth-rock creator Alice Cooper might add rock to Ke$ha's next pop album, the superstar says. Ke$ha calls him Dad.

"He's amazing, the nicest guy ever. I don't know who my dad is, so he's adopted me," she says. "He's one of my business mentors."

Ke$ha has written a song with Cooper, she says. Recently, he joined her onstage for a duet of "School's Out."

"He keeps telling me I need to be a female incarnation of Robert Plant. And I have to say he's wearing me down," she says.

Offstage, all Ke$ha wants to listen to lately is Led Zeppelin, Iggy Pop and Cooper. So she might include rock guitar on her next album, but she's still not sure.

"I want to reinvent pop music for me" on her next album, she says.

Read the rest of our interview in today's Neon section, where she talks about naked male groupies and the art of songwriting.

She sings tonight at Planet Hollywood. LMFAO opens. Recently, she and LMFAO's Redfoo kissed, then he announced on Twitter her "lips taste kinda glittery."

"That happens sometimes," Ke$ha says of them kissing.

AU REVOIR, 'ABSINTHE'

This is your last chance (for now) to see "Absinthe" -- the bawdy "Cirque"-ish show -- during its funny and exhilarating run at Caesars Palace.

Final shows are 8 and 10 p.m. tonight-Saturday and 8 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $88-$124, but locals get a $20 discount.

"Absinthe" started in April in a tent in front of Caesars. But the tent permit has expired.

Despite acclaim, some recent weekday shows were canceled after low ticket sales. I saw it three times and loved it every time.
