This week’s 5 best bets for Vegas entertainment

Seth MacFarlane

December’s “Sinatra 100” special was full of bigger singing names, but the first real audience gasp came when Seth MacFarlane sang “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered.” Were we expecting “Family Guy” voices? MacFarlane continues his lesser-known side career as a standards singer when he returns to Wynn Las Vegas for 7:30 p.m. shows Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $81.75 to $163.50; call 702-770-2270.

RuPaul’s Battle of the Seasons

Why doesn’t RuPaul play Vegas all the time? Maybe he concedes the turf to Frank Marino’s “Divas Las Vegas.” The two drag stars had a crossover this year when “Divas’ ” Derrick Barry took his Britney Spears to “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” But Friday brings one chance to see other battle-scarred contestants who don’t often work here. RuPaul’s Battle of the Seasons begins at 8 p.m. Friday in the The Pearl at the Palms. Tickets are $40; call 702-944-3200.

Jay Mohr

How’s Jay Mohr doing on that Donald Trump voice? We’re guessing he’s nailed it. Maybe even Christopher Walken as Trump, who knows? The comedian and sports-talk host with a knack for impressions returns to the South Point at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $30 to $40; call 702-797-8055.

‘Kabuki Lion Shi-Shi-O: The Adventures of the Mythical Lion’

Is this Marvel’s next comic-book movie? Boy are they down to the obscure characters. Oh, wait. It’s Ichikawa Somegoro, touted as the world’s most celebrated Kabuki artist, starring in a fantasy from the Japanese entertainment company Shochiku. A limited engagement begins Tuesday and runs through the weekend with 8 p.m. performances in the David Copperfield Theater at MGM Grand. Tickets are $69.96 to 217.11; call 800-745-3000.

Belinda Carlisle

The Go-Go’s farewell tour is set for Mandalay Beach on Aug. 26. But you won’t need a swimsuit to see lead singer Belinda Carlisle indoors at The Orleans, doing her solo hits such as “I Get Weak” and “Mad About You” and, we suspect, a few Go-Go’s faves at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $43.55 to $65.35; call 702-365-7075.
