Sons of Norway hosts dinner

It's lutefisk time again: Vegas Viking Lodge of Sons of Norway will present its annual lutefisk dinner on Jan. 29 at the Boulder City Elks Lodge, 1217 Boulder Highway. Seatings will be at 3 and 6 p.m., and tickets must be purchased by Thursday. The dinner includes lutefisk with white sauce or melted butter, roast pork, surkal (Norwegian cabbage) and other side dishes. Lefse will be available for eat-in and takeout, and Aquavit for drink-in. Tickets are $18 for adults and $5 for children 10 and younger and can be purchased by sending a check, payable to Sons of Norway, to Gwen Knighton, 2156 Marstons Mills Court, Henderson 89044, including a self-addressed, stamped envelope and specifying which seating.
