Terrible’s slot tournament offers $500 first prize

The daily slot tournament at Terrible’s is now giving away more than $800 per day in prizes, including a $500 first prize. All Players Club members are entitled to one free entry. Those earning 250 points ($250 coin-in; no point redemption necessary) the previous day receive one additional bonus entry; players earning 500 points the previous day receive two bonus entries. The tournament can be played anytime from 12:01 a.m.-11:59 p.m. The top 10 point earners will receive $10-$500 in prizes and will have 24 hours to redeem their prize. The casino also awards the top weekly scorers (based on their best seven rounds from Tuesday-Monday) $10-$750 in cash and free play.

Ellis Island is celebrating Oktoberfest from noon-10 p.m. Saturday with an all-you-can-eat-and-drink party (for $15) plus three $1,000 cash drawings at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Players receive drawing tickets for every 500 points ($500 coin-in) earned in October and must be present at the drawings to win.

Saturdays also is the day for the South Point‘s Breeders Cup Party from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in the hotel’s grand ballroom. Every one wagering a Breeders Cup bet of $20-plus will receive a special coupon book for a free drink, a free food item and free souvenir that will be given out at 1 p.m.

What if you want to play bingo on Saturday? Then check out the “Spooky Bingo Special” at either the Suncoast (7 p.m.) or the Gold Coast (9 p.m.). Each 15-game session will give away $14,000 in cash. Buy in is $20, additional packs are $10 each.

All day Sunday, the South Point will be giving away “Halloween critters” to all bingo players at all sessions. Halloween bingo daubers will be given away at all sessions at Boulder Station on Tuesday and at Sunset Station on Thursday.

At 7 p.m. daily from Sunday through Nov. 1, the Hard Rock Hotel is drawing nine winners who will win a TomTom 130 GPS receiver, $250 in free play or $100 in free play. Check the rules regarding how to earn drawing entries.

On Halloween night, the Plaza will draw 10 winners (who must be present) to choose among 10 jack-o’-lanterns and win $100-$500 cash. Drawing entries can be earned that day only at the machines or at the blackjack tables.
