‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ casting in Las Vegas

Plenty of people travel to Las Vegas hoping to become a millionaire. Now a game show is coming here to potentially make that a reality.

"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" will be looking for contestants Wednesday at Elara, 80 E. Harmon Ave.

Anyone wanting to audition will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 7 a.m., with timed, multiple-choice tests being given until 10 a.m. Producers will interview those who pass that round between noon and 3 p.m.

A second wave of auditions will begin with testing from 5-7 p.m. and interviews immediately after.

A separate test, designed to solicit contestants for the show's "Movie Week," will begin at 7 p.m. Producers also will audition students throughout the day for "College Week."

Participants must be at least 18, a U.S. resident, provide photo identification and pass all eligibility rules, which can be found at www.millionairetv.com.
