Affinity creates urban village in Summerlin

The extraordinary has its own way of attracting the spotlight. Like that one, singular standout among a sea of similarities. The one that’s recognized as “something special, uniquely different from the norm.” That defines Affinity. A new style of urban community presented by William Lyon Homes that is upscale and relevant to a lifestyle that values quality over quantity.

Affinity at Summerlin is comprised of a limited collection of four distinct home designs, expertly mingled throughout this gated, contemporary community. Offerings range from one-bedroom, single-story flats to four-bedroom, triple-story homes with rooftop decks.

“The urban village concept we envisioned offers our buyers so much more, and that is what truly makes Affinity unique,” said Kim Chitwood, vice president of sales and marketing for William Lyon Homes. “The architectural style is fresh and contemporary. The floor plans are diverse and yet complementary to each other, and we designed the community to reduce maintenance for residents, which is a real plus.

“In addition, this location in the heart of Summerlin is simply outstanding. It’s close enough to stroll over to Downtown Summerlin for dining, shopping and entertainment, but it also takes only a few minutes to drive to Red Rock Canyon,” Chitwood said. “When you add Club Affinity, with all the amenities that brings to residents right in the neighborhood, along with the immediate access to Interstate 215, it means less time spent on the road and more time spent enjoying life. Less work, more time doing what you want. Who doesn’t love that?”

With interest high at Mōda, Evōke, Sávu and Révo — the four distinct products available at Affinity – it’s obvious a lot of people are interested in that lifestyle, she added.

Rated particularly high by Affinity residents are the numerous perks of their Club Affinity membership, which is included with ownership. As a focal point of the community, this 6,800-square-foot recreation center includes a fitness center with cardio and strength machines and a movement center. It offers group fitness classes as well as Affinity’s own lifestyle director. Also available is a multipurpose lounge and event kitchen for social or group events.

Outside, residents will enjoy the pools, spas, outdoor barbecue terrace and cozy fire pit lounge — all perfect venues for savoring the indoor/outdoor Las Vegas lifestyle.

Homes at Affinity begin with Mōda, defined as “fashionable, trendy, stylish, vogue.” Mōda includes six attached living designs presented in a new form of affordable urban verticality. Plans begin with a single-level, 874-square-foot design with one bedroom and one bath and extends up to 1,430 square feet with two bedrooms and 2½ baths.

Between these two lies a multitude of dual-level lifestyle possibilities, with tandem or two-car garages included per plan. Prices at Mōda begin at $219,000.

Second in the Affinity series is Evōke — “to inspire,” a name aptly chosen for this series of triplex designs. Three plans offer from two to three bedrooms and 2½ baths and give buyers a choice of an easily accessed first-floor, single-level home with front courtyard; a two-bedroom design on the second floor with a private deck; or a three-bedroom with dual living areas above the garage bays and a master suite above. Homes range from 1,252 to 4,925 square feet with prices starting at $356,000.

Sávu is aptly named to invoke “a state of mind,” as it takes the art of living to the next level of smart and contemporary. Three plans ranging from two to three bedrooms and 2½ baths offer a selection of single or split-level living spaces. Plans Two and Three originate at ground level, while Plan One (with an included balcony) is fully situated above ground. Designs include a side yard and patio space just beyond the communal living areas. Ranging from 1,734 to 2,402 square feet, Sávu prices begin at $389,000.

Fourth in the series is Révo, four “revolutionary” floor plans that were the inspiration for their name, so unique are they in appearance and functionality. These versatile triple-level duplex homes include three to five bedrooms and 2½ to 3½ baths. Well-defined and layered spaces are chic and sophisticated, making excellent use of the 2,047 to 2,492 square feet of space available. Pricing at Révo starts from $412,000.

Mōda and Evōke buyers can choose from designer-created packages of flooring, countertops and other interior selections, while buyers of Sávu and Révo homes will visit with the William Lyon Design Studio for additional personalizing opportunities. Included features not only focus on beauty and function — such as the designer quartz countertops in kitchens, 9-foot ceilings and stainless steel appliances — but also consist of numerous eco-friendly, water and energy-saving traits throughout.

Affinity homes also enjoy the benefits of William Lyon’s Three-Year Warranty &Service Program, designed to exceed current industry standards so owners benefit from service and dependability throughout the homebuying process and even after escrow closes.

To visit Affinity, take I-215 to the Charleston Boulevard exit west and follow the signs. The Sales Center is at 11327 Gravitation Drive, Las Vegas. For more information, visit LyonHomes.com/Nevada.
