Century Communities prepares for Skye Canyon grand openings

Century Communities is putting the final touches on two brand-new neighborhoods that will celebrate their official grand openings at Skye Canyon next weekend. Whisper Peak will offer seven two-story floor plans with four model homes and Alpine Crossings will offer three single- and two-story floor plans with two model homes.

"We are very excited to be part of the Skye Canyon community," said Mary Clizbe, sales agent for Century Communities at Skye Canyon. "We are not only offering homebuyers our beautifully appointed floor plans, but also the wonderful amenities Skye Canyon has to offer."

Whisper Peak and Alpine Crossings, which are now open, will celebrate their official grand openings Jan. 23. Grand opening events are scheduled at both sales offices from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include model home tours, refreshments and giveaways.

Whisper Peak's seven two-story plans are offered in the Aspen and Tahoe series. Homes in the Aspen series range from 1,731 to 2,259 square feet and homes in the Tahoe series range from 2,374 to 2,870 square feet. Prices start in the $200,000.

"Three of the seven floor plans at Whisper Peak are brand-new to Century Communities, Clizbe said. "Most of our floor plans include second-floor lofts, some of which can be converted to additional bedrooms."

Homes at Whisper Peak are available with up to five bedrooms and as many as 4½ baths.

Both single-story and two-story homes are being offered at Alpine Crossings. Homes in this neighborhood range from 2,169 to 3,528 square feet with up to six bedrooms. They include standard covered patios and options for casitas and multi-generational areas.

"Century Communities also offers some of the highest quality standard features in Skye Canyon," Clizbe said. Whisper Peak and Alpine Crossings homes will include Century Communities' signature standard features, such as stainless-steel appliances, maple cabinetry and granite countertops in the kitchens, integral square sinks in all baths. Tile is in the entry and wet areas; there are also paver driveways and walkways.

"These will be two of Century Communities' most unique developments in Southern Nevada," said sales agent Drake Collier. "From a real estate perspective, we believe Skye Canyon as a whole will continue to grow. That means Century Communities' great value will also continue to grow."
