Pulte opens Coldwater Crossing in Mountain’s Edge

Coldwater Crossing by Pulte Homes offers spacious backyards, roomy floor plans and mesa views. Pulte is unveiling the unique perimeter and cul-de-sac home sites this month in the Mountain's Edge, a Las Vegas master-planned community in the southwestern valley.

Coldwater Crossing, which features distinctive home designs inspired by extensive consumer research, offers well-designed homes with energy-efficient benefits of a new home in an area with quality schools and an easy commute to entertainment and employment corridors, said Andy Lee, director of sales for PulteGroup's Las Vegas Division.

"These new-home sites will be very popular because they are ideally situated within the neighborhood," he said. "Coldwater Crossing's combination of affordability, along with proximity to jobs, good schools, retail and services offers an ideal combination to homebuyers seeking a very special place to live."

Coldwater Crossing is adjacent to a network of existing and planned schools, offices, restaurants and neighborhood shops ranging from convenience and grocery stores to nearby malls and outlets. An array of greenbelts and trails weave through the surrounding community, including the 20-acre Nathaniel Jones Park.

The two-story homes in Coldwater Crossing start in the high $200,00s and range in size from 2,047 to more than 2,368 square feet. The homes feature open living areas with as many as five bedrooms, with 2½ to 3½ baths and the option to have the owner's suite on the first level. Each plan also includes a game room, loft or flexible den space. Distinctive interior features include birch wood cabinets, granite countertops and stainless steel undermount sinks in the kitchen, recessed lighting, ceramic tile in key areas, and baths with dual bowl vanities in master bath.

The community features Pulte's Life Tested designs that reflect home plans developed from feedback provided by actual homeowners and homebuyers. The new designs are a direct result of local consumer research on how families really live in their homes, Lee said.

"These floor plans offer more flexible and larger living areas in the places that families spend the most time in," Lee said.

Coldwater Crossing offers many environmentally friendly features including the option for solar. Other features include: blown-in cellulose insulation, conditioned attic, 15 SEER-rated air-conditioning system, energy-efficient gas furnace, low-E2 dual pane windows with vinyl frames in beige, digital programmable thermostat, florescent lighting in garage and laundry, tankless water heater, Energy Star appliances, water-efficient toilets, water-saving shower heads and faucets, fresh-air circulation system, low VOC paint, recycled building materials and certified renewable resources.

Coldwater Crossing is at 7710 Canyon Diablo Road in Las Vegas. For more information and directions, go to www.pulte.com or call 866-226-2094.
