Constellation takes leases for luxury apartment units

Constellation, Downtown Summerlin’s gated rental luxury development, has begun leasing its 124 units.

Though construction is not expected to be complete until October, residents have started moving in and are expected to do so throughout the remainder of the summer and into the fall, Constellation Property Manager Will Scaglione said.

The residential project, which is near Red Rock Resort on Spruce Park Drive off South Town Center Drive and West Charleston Boulevard, boasts floor plans from 941 to 1,904 square feet.

Scaglione said there are several one-bedroom, one-bath floor plans and two-bedroom, two-bath floor plans with the option to include a loft. Ground floor units come equipped with a private attached garage.

The kitchens feature stainless-steel appliances, pantry closets, contemporary fixtures and hardware, and hardwood cabinets.

Some units have quartz countertops, backsplashes, dry bars, rooftop patios and mezzanines, and Strip and mountain views.

Rental prices start at $1,665 and go up to nearly $3,000 a month.

Amenities include a pool with cabanas, wet deck and Jacuzzi, picnic and barbecue areas, and a 24-hour, state-of-the-art fitness center, club bar, game lounge, tanning salon, billiards and massage room.

Amanda Barton is gearing up to move into her two-bedroom, two-bath unit with a loft at the start of September.

She will not only live at the residential development, but she will be the resident personal trainer too.

“After visiting the property, I sat down with Will and we talked about how unique this boutique property is and how lots of wonderful resident opportunities could be cultivated amongst all the newly constructed state-of-the-art facilities,” Barton said. “When the idea of becoming the resident trainer for the community came up, I thought it would be a great way for me to start meeting new people in the community while also having the opportunity to expand my business and help more people lead healthy, fit and happy lives.”

Barton hasn’t developed the exact fitness classes she will offer at Constellation, but she is leaning toward boot camp, water aerobics and yoga classes and potentially hosting classes centered on healthy meal planning and preparation.

“My overall hope for the community is to meet a lot of social people that love to get involved in their community,” she said. “I cannot wait to move in.”
