Advertising Sales Executives

The Las Vegas Review-Journal is seeking highly motivated, customer-oriented, outside sales executives to join our growing team. We are looking for digital savvy salespeople to sell our suite of digital and print products. We offer an attractive compensation package with base salary, health benefits, gas allowance, and cell phone allowance. We are building a team that is strategic, competitive, and motivated to sell. The advertising arsenal at the Review Journal is limitless and so is the commission structure. Candidates should have 5+ years experience selling advertising in print, broadcast or digital media. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Follow company’s accepted sales processes, standards, policies, deadlines, and best practices at all times.
  • Continuously develop network of decision-maker contacts and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Grow number of active accounts/sales revenue through developing and working a sales pipeline and working with existing customers to grow their business.
  • Deliver marketing strategy proposals based on client needs.
  • Manage active marketing campaigns to maximize client results.
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts based on account/market potential on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Remain current on industry technology, trends, market activities, and competition at all times.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

  • Meet/exceed budgeted revenue goal on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Achieve company’s core KPI goals for position along with additional KPI goals assigned by manager.
  • Develop and consistently maintain a strategic sales plan for assigned territory/account list.
  • Maximize revenue from existing accounts.
  • Continuously maintain a sales pipeline.
  • Ensure that revenue on all contracts serviced and sold fulfill to meet the terms of the contract.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

  • High school diploma/GED. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • 5+ years of successful experience in outside advertising sales.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Digital Advertising Specialist

The Las Vegas Review-Journal is looking for collaborative, sales-focused individuals to partner with our multi-media Advertising Executives to served as experts on our broad portfolio of digital advertising and marketing solutions. Circulation Route Manager

Features Writer

Looking for a seasoned general assignment features writer to cover pop culture, performance and visual arts, human interest stories, trends and other topics for the RJ and Luxury magazine. Must be able to find and develop enterprise stories. Successful candidates must also have multimedia experience and the ability to tell stories in creative ways on multiple platforms.
Must have at least 5 years experience as a features writer. Knowledge of pop culture and ability to spot and contextualize trends required. Must be social media savvy, comfortable appearing on camera, with the ability to take photos, shoot video, edit and upload to multiple platforms on deadline.
