PHILHARMONIC GUILD

The Las Vegas Philharmonic Guild will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Black Box Theatre at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. The group supports the Philharmonic Orchestra in its musical performances and educational initiatives in Las Vegas (233-1946).

PINOCHLE CLUB

The nonsmoking Double Deck Pinochle Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays (274-6387).

TOASTMASTERS

The Premier Toastmasters Club meets at 6 p.m. Mondays at Gordon Biersch, 750 S. Rampart Blvd. Guests may attend (222-1436).

Toastmasters en Espanol Club meets at 7 p.m. Mondays at Cambridge Community Center, 3900 Cambridge St. (951-9454).

Powerhouse Pros Toastmasters Club meets at 6:15 p.m. the first and third Monday of each month in the Merrill Lynch Training Room at the U.S. Bank Building, 2300 W. Sahara Ave. (258-1922).

The Monday Niters Toastmasters Club meets at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Monday of each month at Denny's, 3081 S. Maryland Parkway (807-2176).

The Sourcer-ers Toastmasters Club meets at 7:15 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of the month at Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson (296-8665).

JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada offers singles programs for adults of all ages. Jewish singles meet for bagels and coffee at noon the first Sunday of the month at Temple Beth Sholom, 10700 Havenwood Lane, and the fourth Wednesday of each month at Rave Motion Pictures, 6587 Las Vegas Blvd., South; Jewish singles in their 20s and 30s meet at 6:30 p.m. the first Monday of each month at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Co., 2220 Village Walk Drive in Henderson. WOMEN'S CLUB

The Valley Women's Club offers a luncheon the second Monday of the month and a bimonthly business meeting at Green Valley Library, 2797 Green Valley Parkway, Henderson (837-2541).

SINGLES TRAVEL CLUB

The Las Vegas Singles Travel and Social Club, for people 55 and older interested in local and world travel, meets at 6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Tap House, 5589 W. Charleston Blvd. (888-324-2028).

BRITISH CLUB

The Senior British Friendship Club will meet for dinner Tuesday at Sean Patricks Pub, 8255 W. Flamingo Road (870-9988 or 597-3999).

BENEFIT

The Desert Riders Club will host a poker run for all riders to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation on Saturday. Registration will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Carter Powersports, 6275 S. Decatur Blvd. The fee is $20 for riders and $10 for passengers, and includes a free barbecue after the ride. Riders will depart upon registering and gather cards along a nearly 60-mile route to secure the best poker hand (795-2000).

BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY

The Las Vegas chapter of the Brandeis University National Women's Committee will have its next general meeting at noon April 9 at the Cathay House Restaurant, 5300 Spring Mountain Road. The event will include election of officrs follwed by a lunch of dim sum and an afternoon of fun and games. The deadline for reservations is Saturday (360-6400).

TELECOMPIONEERS LUNCHEON

The Desert Sands Life Member Club of the TelecomPioneers will have a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. April 10 at the Italian American Dinner Club, 2333 E. Sahara Ave. All retired employees of SBC, ATT, Lucent Technologies, Western Electric and former Bell System companies amay attend. Reservations are due by April 3 (645-4236).

BREAST CANCER CLASSES

The Breast Center at Sunrise offers classes in yoga, meditation, nutrition and other topics throughout the month at 3600 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 250 (784-7870).

CANCER SCREENINGS

St. Rose Dominican Hospital offers free breast cancer screenings and services to uninsured and underinsured women ages 40 and younger (616-7525).

Mammovan for Nevada offers free mammograms to low-income women age 40 and older in the Las Vegas area. Appointments are necessary (877-581-6266).
