“Great Beach Reads,” a panel discussion on fiction writing for summertime reading with local authors Nicole Mitchell, Charline Ratcliff, Jamy Rosser and Morgan St. James, will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

“From Pulp to Present: Lesbian Literature in Love,” a multimedia talk with LGBT activist, feminist and playwright Shawn Marie Bryan, will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

The Fratello Marionettes will present “Carnival of the Animals,” featuring three classic storybook fairy tales, at the following locations: Monday at 2 p.m. at West Charleston Library, 6301 W.
