SIGNINGS

Ozzy Osbourne will sign his book "I Am Ozzy" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Borders, 6521 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Trish Geran will sign and discuss "Beyond the Glimmering Lights: The Pride and Perseverance of African-Americans in Las Vegas" at noon Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 3860 S. Maryland Parkway.

EVENTS

Author Rebecca Katz will give a lecture and book signing for her book "The Cancer Fighting Kitchen" at 1 p.m. today at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

"Cowboy Migration," a presentation by poet Donna Clark, will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Room D 101 at the College of Southern Nevada, 6375 W. Charleston Blvd.

"At the Author's Table," celebrating African-American History Month with Linda Caro Porter (author of "Torn Between 2 Brothas") and Roosevelt Toston (author of "Beating the Odds in Las Vegas ... and in Life"), will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at West Las Vegas Library, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Book sales and signings will follow the presentation.

Author Ni'Cola will have a book release party for her new book "The Appetizer" at 6 p.m. Saturday at ETA Lounge at Aliante Station, 7300 Aliante Parkway, North Las Vegas.

Mornings with Mari Book Club meets at 10 a.m. the third Saturday of each month and the Best Book You've Never Read book group meets the second Sunday of the month at 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, 8915 W. Charleston Blvd.

The Breakfast Book Club meets at 11 a.m. the third Friday of the month at Sunrise Library, 5400 Harris Ave.

The Contemporary Fiction Book Club meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

The Book Chat Cafe meets at 10:30 a.m. the third Saturday of each month at Summerlin Library, 1771 Inner Circle Drive.

The Desert Hearts romance readers book club meets at 6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.

The Fantastic Classics Book Club meets at 7:15 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month at Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
