A California man visiting Las Vegas for the Electric Daisy Carnival died Wednesday, John Fudenberg, of the Clark County coroner’s office, said Friday.
On June 20, before attending the festival, Joey Saychack, 21, of Fresno Calif., was found unconscious by friends in a house they had rented for the weekend. He was taken to Spring Valley Hospital, Fudenberg said. He died Wednesday of unknown causes.
The three-day festival drew over 135,000 people each day, according to Insomniac Productions, the organizers. Saychack’s cause of death will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office in about four to six weeks, Fudenberg said.
