• Big is Beautiful: Miss Plus Size America seeks contestants. The pageant will be held March 20-21, and women ages 20 and up, sizes 14w and up are welcome to enter. More2Love, located at 3300 S. Jones Blvd., will hold informational meetings every Monday and Thursday at 5 p.m. For more information, call 873-5151.
• Sak it to Me: Saks Fifth Avenue is holding a Donna Karan event today with informal modeling and refreshments, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saks Fifth Avenue is located at Fashion Show mall.
• Fashion Passion: The Junior League of Las Vegas is partnering with Las Vegas High School's fashion design class to put on a student-produced fashion show. The event will be held Saturday, from 2 to 3 p.m. on the Fashion Show mall runway in the grand hall. The fashion show is free and open to the public. For seats next to the runway, tickets are being sold for $3 on site. The top three winning garments from the fashion show will be auctioned off at the Paint the Town Red Gala.
