Chic Charity: St. John and Saks Fifth Avenue are partnering with Dress for Success to promote economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire. Customers donating a St. John suit will receive $200 off a purchase of $1,000 or more. When a non-St. John suit is donated, customers will receive $50 off the purchase of $1,000 or more. Incentive offers are good during St. John and Saks Fifth Avenue open house events, March 18-22.

Barbie World: Fashion design students from the International Academy of Design and Technology Las Vegas (IADT) are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Barbie with an exhibit at Fashion Show mall featuring fashions created for the iconic doll in an IADT-sponsored Barbie Style design competition. Students are also producing a Barbie-inspired runway show. Check out the exhibit today, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the stagebox near the runway in The Great Hall. The fashion show is Saturday at 2 p.m. in The Great Hall.

Pretty Prom: Las Vegas Prom Closet offers less fortunate teen girls the chance to attend prom without worrying about the fashion expenses. Kiddie Clothes: As They Grow ... A Unique Children's Consignment Sale is coming to Vegas April 24-26, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 2630 S. Decatur Blvd. A $2 fee covers the entire weekend. Open Up Shop: T.J. Maxx and Home Goods announce the opening of a 50,000-square-foot store that combines both retailers into one. Now you can have one-stop shopping for brand name clothes and home fashions at a fraction of original prices. The combo store opens March 15 and will be located in Desert Marketplace at South Durango Drive and Warm Springs Road.

Holding Up: Receive a complimentary bra fitting in a Wacoal or b.tempt'd bra from a Wacoal specialist at upcoming Fit for the Cure events. Fittings take place March 18, noon to 5 p.m at Dillard's at Fashion Show mall and March 19, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dillard's at Galleria at Sunset mall. For every woman who participates, Wacoal will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer research and community health programs. For every Wacoal bra, shapewear piece of b.tempt'd bra purchase, an additional $2 will be donated.
