Chic Charity: Cocktails, Couture & Cars for a Cure benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Southern Nevada. Visit the handbag department for a Nancy Gonzalez trunk show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. Susanna DiMarco personally hosts a trunk show of her contemporary jewelry from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Laura Mercier Sequin event will feature live music while guests experience the new eye colors and lip glaces from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Student Style: President of Best Buddies' Palo Verde High School Chapter Madison Blau launches "What's in Your Closet?" a fundraising project to benefit Best Buddies Nevada and Opportunity Village. The high school student will collect donated designer accessories to be sold on eBay with 100 percent of the sales supporting young people and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Nevada. Collections start today, from 10 a.m. to noon at Opportunity Village Engelstad Campus, 6050 S. Buffalo Drive. Drop off your donated accessories at any Opportunity Village site.

Gifts on Wheels: Celebrating 50 years of Hello Kitty and friends, Sanrio has joined forces with Target to bring a party to fans of all ages with Small Gift, the eight-week mobile pop-up tour. Bringing this fun and unique experience directly to fans through the newest trend of fashion trucks, two trailers wrapped in Sanrio graphics roll into Town Square from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. First 50 people in attendance get goody bags.

Forum Fever: Reed Krakoff, Coach's creative director, has launched his second store and namesake in the United States at the Forum Shops at Caesars. Reek Krakoff is a line of women's ready-to-wear, handbags, small leather goods, footwear, sunglasses, watches and jewelry.

Cosmetics Craze: Polish-based cosmetics company Inglot has opened another Vegas boutique at Town Square, housing more than 1,500 colors for the face, eyes, eyebrows, lips and nails. Its Freedom System allows guests to mix and match 450 lip pigments, 550 eye shades, 300 facial hues and 300 nail colors.

Here Comes the Bride: Brides Across America, a nationwide charity dedicated to providing free wedding gowns for military brides, announced that Las Vegas bridal salon Couture Bride will be giving away free designer wedding gowns today, which include but are not limited to Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera. Crystal Clear: A three-level, 21,000-square-foot Prada store has opened at Crystals at CityCenter. It carries the complete men's and women's ready-to-wear collections and footwear, as well as limited-edition handbags and playful accessories dedicated to Las Vegas. Crystals also has opened a new Gucci boutique with men's and women's apparel, leather goods, shoes, watches, jewelry, sunglasses and accessories at the 15,000-square-foot space.

Makeup Magic: Sephora at The Venetian has opened a MAKE UP FOREVER Boutique & Studio, complete with a more extensive product selection, interactive tools, education and artistry.

Open for Biz: Square Colour Salon + Spa has moved into a new location at 1225 S. Fort Apache Road. The salon has 30 hair stations, three treatment rooms and is a modern, minimalistic design. What Suits You: For one day only, Friday, United Way's Women's Leadership Council will collect gently used suits and professional attire to be donated to local area shelters and nonprofits that assist women in need. Drive-through donations can be made in the United Way parking lot at 1660 E. Flamingo Road.
