Crawford inks deal for decor, accessory items

Cindy Crawford Home Licensing has partnered with Malibu Designs to develop and market a comprehensive line of home décor items.

The agreement covers home décor accessories, tabletop and entertaining, outdoor décor, kitchen décor and other related merchandise and was expected to appear in retail stores by this summer.

"Cindy Crawford has been a leading figure in the world of fashion, style and beauty for years," said Mark Schwartz, co-chief executive officer of Malibu Designs. "Her sense of style and the popularity of her other licensed products, including her very successful furniture line, make her a perfect fit for a new home décor line that combines style, function and value."

"I’ve always loved home design and am thrilled to have the opportunity to develop an entire line of home décor accessories that embodies my personal taste and sense of style," Cindy Crawford said. "I’ve been working with Malibu Designs to create beautiful designs at affordable prices that I believe people will love."

"Cindy will be working very closely with us on every aspect of the development of the Cindy Crawford Lifestyle line, from the exact items introduced to the fabrics, materials and colors of the items," added Jeff Haines, co-chief executive officer of Malibu Designs.
