Master gardeners from the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension and the South Valley Rose Society are presenting a class about rose oil production and distillation. Bob Morris, professor emeritus for the University of Nevada and garden columnist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, will teach the session.

“Composting” is the title of the session. Participants will learn the basics of composting, including water, containers, time and materials.

What: Children’s garden workshop

University of Nevada Cooperative Extension master gardeners will teach the session for children of all ages. “Tricks or Treats” is the title of the session, which will have a festive Halloween theme.
