What: Getting Ready for Backyard Rose Expo. South Valley Rose Society and the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension are collaborating to help residents prepare for the upcoming expo. Steve and Janet Schneider, who have more than 25 years experience growing roses and are founders of the rose society and Consulting Rosarian, will discuss the types of roses to plant, explain the classifications, how to choose and transport specimens and complete entry forms.
