Red Rock Canyon: On Tuesday, a strenuous, 5-mile hike with an elevation hike of 1,900-foot elevation gain at Turtlehead. On Friday, an easy to moderate 3½-mile hike at Lone Grapevine Spring. On Saturday, a moderate 3½-mile full moon hike at Pine Creek. Bring a flashlight. On March 20, an easy to moderate 4-mile hike at First Creek (515-5367).

Around The Bend Friends: This group of people over 50, interested in hiking and related social activities, plans a three-to four-hour moderate hike each Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. To learn more about the group and the meeting place for the hike, contact 228-0773, or the club's website: www.aroundthebendfriends.com.
