Power up for Olive Garden’s Pasta Passes

If you're a fan of the Olive Garden, you'd better get to a computer and keep your finger on the mouse.

The company has announced that its Never Ending Pasta Pass will go on sale at 2 p.m. Thursday, Eastern time, which translates to 11 a.m. Las Vegas time. Last year, the passes sold out in 45 minutes, so this year the company has doubled the chance of getting one. One thousand Never Ending Pasta Passes, at $100, and 1,000 Family Editions of the Pasta Pass, at $300, will be available.

The passes grant the holder unlimited pasta, sauces, pasta toppings, soup or salad, breadsticks and Coca-Cola soft drinks as many times as they would like, Oct. 5 through Nov. 22. The family passes have the same provisions, but for a group of four. To get one — or attempt to — go to www.olivegarden.com.

The Never Ending Pasta Passes help draw attention to the company's Never Ending Pasta Bowl promotion, now in its 20th year. The bowls, which are $9.99, will be available during the same seven-week period.
