DETROIT — Mohammed Al-Turaiki left his traditional Saudi Arabian headdress behind in favor of a blazer and sweater as he made the rounds at one of the United States’ oldest addiction treatment centers.
The Masjid Ibrahim and Islamic Learning Center, 3799 Edwards Ave., will host July Fourth weekend events featuring a Muslim Family Matters Day 11 a.m.-3 p.m. today, and the program “Freedom of Faith: the Inalienable Right” hosted by Imam Mubarak at 1 p.m. Sunday (395-7013).
