MUSIC

Christ Church Episcopal, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway, will present a musical concert featuring the organ and piano duo of Janet and Ed Kaizer, and violinist Laraine Kaizer-Viazovtsev, at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $15 (735-7655).

The family concert "On My Way To You," featuring performers from "Phantom -- The Las Vegas Spectacular" singing Broadway and cabaret numbers, will be presented at 3 p.m. Jan. 8 at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd. Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be accepted (341-7800).

Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, 1501 Las Vegas Blvd. North, will offer adoption orientations for those interested in learning about domestic infant adoption, from 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 10 and 25. The orientations are free (385-3351).

MEETINGS

Hindu Temple & Jain Center of Las Vegas, 1701 Sageberry Drive, offers Balaji Abhishekam services at 10:45 a.m. the first Saturday of the month in the temple, and Aarti Pooja services at noon Sundays (304-9207).

CLASSES

Green Valley United Methodist Church, 2200 Robindale Road, is offering a 13-week interactive DVD course on Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. A preview date is set for 6 p.m. Monday (454-7989).

Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, Henderson, will examine the historical and archaeological evidences presented in the DVD series "Is the Bible Reliable?" from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays Jan. 11 through March 28 in Room 285 (735-4004).

SINGLES GROUPS

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church has a singles dinner for ages 60 and older the first Wednesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Black Mountain Grill, 11021 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson (796-1953).

Single Adults Learning Together, or SALT Ministries of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, meets at 6 p.m. Saturdays at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (871-5050).
