The religious groups with the most available scholarship money

Your religion could help you earn money for college, depending on which religious group you associate with.

As the chart below shows, the Presbyterian Church (USA) offers more scholarship funds than any other religious group with more than $3 million. Protestants sit right behind with $2.9 million, according to the chart.

Here’s a look at the religious institutions with the most scholarship money available, which “is calculated by multiplying the number of awards for a scholarship by the amount of the award and is then totaled for all scholarships within each religion,” the chart reads.
