Runners decked out in pink remembered 13-year-old Brooklyn Mae Mohler in Henderson on Saturday during the Run For Safe Guns at Henderson’s Cornerstone Park.

Jacob Mohler, left, and Darchel Mohler, Brooklyn’s parents, spoke to the crowd about gun safety during the third annual event. The girl was shot and killed by her best friend in 2013.
