“The Spirit of 33,” a mural unveiled at the Mob Museum on Monday, brings to life a time of gangsters and stylish cars: a 1933 Rolls Royce and a 1935 Duesenberg.
Miguel Hernandez, resident artist at Zappos, painted the mural on the museum’s back wall. Dignitaries gathered there on Monday to unveil the beautification project, a partnership between the museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, and Zappos.
