The visiting exhibit “Dino Summer” is planned at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd., through Sept. 20. It is set to feature an animatronic tyrannosaurus rex and triceratops, interactive video games and a dino bone dig. The attraction is also scheduled to offer a 30-minute live animal show titled “Eat or Be Eaten: Predators and Prey” at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily through Aug. 23 and Aug. 29 and 30. The show is set to feature Springs Preserve zoologists and staff members with a rotating cast of animals, including bugs, lizards, snakes and small mammals. Audience members can participate in trivia games to win prizes. A behind-the-scenes tour, offering a chance to get up close with the animals, is planned from noon to 1 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The dinosaur exhibit and predator show are free for members or with paid general admission. The tour is an additional $3 for members or $5 for nonmembers.
