"Amazing Grace" (PG): This is a biopic of 18th-century British politician William Wilberforce" (Ioan Gruffudd) who persuaded Parliament to pass a bill renouncing slavery in England. Extras include commentary from director Michael Apted and Gruffudd plus featurettes and a music video.

The Hives, "The Black and White Album": A rock 'n' roll adrenaline shot, The Hives' needle-in-the-red yowl is sweatier than a track meet.

The hot-under-the-collar Swedish quintet sees its spiky garage rock get a makeover from big-name pop producers such as The Neptunes and Timbaland on its latest, heart-pounding disc.

Despite working with such established hitmakers though, these dudes are still grittier than sandstone.
