Water Cooler

Here are a few items in pop culture that caught our eye last week.

■ Louisville basketball player Kevin Ware’s ■ compound fracture during the NCAA’s regional championships may be the most grisly thing ever seen on TV. Well, not as grisly as anything featuring the Kardashians, but pretty bad.

■ A bill introduced in Carson City would prohibit anyone younger than 21 from dancing nude in adult clubs. Just add this to our ever-lengthening “How was this not already a Nevada law?” list.

■ A misprinted ad results in a Texas Macy’s selling $1,500 necklaces for $47. Should be some great jewelry deals hitting eBay any time now.

■ A judge awards $8,000 to a man who was trapped on Disneyland’s “It’s a Small World” ride for 30 minutes. Forget the courts. Somebody call Amnesty International!
