Here are a few things in news, entertainment and popular culture that we've been talking about lately.

n Chuck Heath, Sarah Palin's dad, endorses Danny Tarkanian's U.S. Senate bid. Searching for equivalent credibility, Harry Reid pursues an endorsement from any descendant of Aaron Burr.

n First lady Dawn Gibbons u25B6 may host a daily half-hour radio talk show. As long as it's not one of those repair-your-relationship shows.

n John Edwards' mistress, Rielle Hunter, reportedly thinks her suggestive photos in the new GQ are "repulsive." The photos are only the beginning of what's repulsive about all of this.

n Le Whif, an inhalable chocolate, hits store shelves in New York and Massachusetts. Next up: The chocolate patch, for chocoholics who really can't wait for that next hit.
