Wet ‘N Wild kicks off summer with holiday weekend opening — PHOTOS

Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of water park season in Las Vegas. Many turned out to Wet N’ Wild on Saturday to enjoy the park’s new slideboarding ride.

The park got the OK earlier this year to serve alcohol again this year, but only limited amounts of beer or wine.

The weather was perfect for the reopening, with showers moving away from the valley before the holiday leaving clouds and cooler summer temperatures.
