Man critical after near drowning in Henderson

A man is in critical condition after a near drowning Wednesday evening in Henderson, police said.

Henderson Police Department and Henderson Fire Department responded about 7 p.m. to 1851 N. Green Valley Parkway, an apartment complex near Windmill Parkway, police spokesman Rod Pena said.

Pena said the man, in his 30s, was found in the pool and taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena campus. He is in critical condition.
